We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at L.J Gonzer Associates. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving magnetic components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems and components, focusing on magnetic components such as transformers, inductors, and reactors.
  • Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
  • Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks.
  • Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
  • Perform detailed analyses to assess designs or applications, feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements.
  • Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
  • Research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
  • Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendations to the maintenance crew.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally in the manufacturing sector, focusing on magnetic components.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in CAD and other engineering design software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
