Job Summary

The Senior Maintenance Technician is a key member of our maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated material handling systems. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automated equipment, including pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, and hydraulic equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems using technical drawings and diagnostic tools.
  • Collaborate with operations managers to ensure maintenance activities are aligned with operational goals and objectives.
  • Provide technical support and training to maintenance team members as needed.
  • Participate in cleaning and maintenance of the maintenance area and conveyor systems.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in mechanical troubleshooting, technical troubleshooting, maintenance, and/or installation.
  • Strong electrical background and knowledge of low-voltage controls and PLCs.
  • Certification to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and boom lifts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with Allen Bradley products and network troubleshooting.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience working with outside vendors, customers, and business partners.
