Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Materials Process Analyst to enhance our operations at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all internal processes and systems related to material flow, from inbound supplier materials to outbound finished goods.
  • Act as a vital resource for improving operational efficiencies, ensuring timely customer deliveries, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Drive business solutions and practices aligned with Generac's Operating Model to optimize material management.

Performance Metrics:

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Implementation of standardized work processes that enhance material handling and inventory accuracy.
  • Continuous improvement in delivery performance and cycle count accuracy.
  • Uninterrupted material flow for production lines and adherence to established material control processes.

Essential Duties:

  • Ensure efficient presentation of materials to support optimal flow.
  • Optimize daily warehousing operations, including staging and cycle counting.
  • Oversee inventory management processes to maintain accuracy and compliance with guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Purchasing, and Production teams to resolve quality and delivery challenges.
  • Facilitate effective communication between planning, purchasing, and production to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency.
  • Support best practices in material and inventory management.
  • Provide training and development for materials staff to achieve key performance indicators.
  • Act as a Super User for SAP within assigned functional areas.

Qualifications:

Minimal:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business or Supply Chain.
  • 5+ years of experience in material control systems and processes.
  • Proven track record of performance in operations and supply chain management.

Preferred:

  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Certifications such as CPIM or CSCP.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Knowledge of warehouse and materials functions.
  • Demonstrated skills in process improvement.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on achieving results.
  • Drive and determination to succeed in a dynamic environment.
