This role involves a

36-hour work week, night shift position

, consisting of three 12-hour shifts. The general salary range is $74.61, but compensation may vary based on several factors, including the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.


Located in Vancouver, PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center and Medical Group provides extensive specialty care, catering to over 280,000 patients annually in southwest Washington. As one of the largest employers in Clark County, we are a key healthcare provider with 450 licensed beds, offering a comprehensive array of specialized medical services and programs to meet the diverse healthcare needs of our community.

About our Emergency Department:
Our department features 52 beds, including 5 resuscitation bays, a designated locked behavioral health unit, and a helipad for Life Flight services.

We are a Level II Trauma Center, one of only three trauma centers in the Portland area.

We serve as a Regional Cardiac and Comprehensive Stroke Center, with approximately 85,000 visits each year.

Team Environment:

We promote a collaborative practice among RNs, EDTs, Providers, and other healthcare professionals. Our team benefits from 24/7 coverage by an ED Pharmacist, Respiratory Therapy, and Social Work. We support ongoing education and professional growth through yearly education compensation and financial assistance for qualifying advanced degrees.


Qualifications:
Current Washington or Multistate nursing license is required by the start date.

American Heart Association/American Red Cross BLS & ACLS certifications for Healthcare Providers are required by the start date.

PALS and TNCC certifications must be obtained within one year of hire. NIHSS certification is required within six months of hire.

A minimum of one year of experience in Emergency nursing or completion of the PHSW ED Fellowship/New Grad program is necessary.
