Customer Service Engineer

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and technical expertise in a fast-paced healthcare environment? We're seeking a skilled Customer Service Engineer to join our team at Siemens Healthineers.

About the Role

As a Customer Service Engineer, you will be responsible for building and sustaining strong partnerships with customers, serving as the primary technical representative, and owning customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and optimum service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective technical expertise and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborate with biomedical engineers and senior staff members to provide technical support and resolve customer issues.
  • Work closely with clinical and sales partners to manage and grow the install base.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues with ultrasound equipment.
  • Manage installation, modification, and preventive maintenance calls to ensure customer equipment operates at a high standard.
  • Work with the Regional Service Director to achieve individual goals and targets for the region.
  • Ensure all work and equipment adhere to state and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Submit documentation required to remain in compliance with serviceable repairs.
Requirements
  • Degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Background maintaining electronic equipment, either in or out of a healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Desire to work with the latest technology and learn about new software and hardware solutions.
  • Passion to deliver customer-centric solutions to customers.
  • Ability to work well without supervision, be a self-starter, and independently manage time/schedule.
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility for day-to-day work and required company training.
