Position Overview
In the role of Customer Experience Lead, you will spearhead initiatives aimed at boosting customer satisfaction and facilitating enhancements across various departments. Reporting to the VP of Sales – NASA, you will work closely with multiple teams to pinpoint areas for improvement and execute strategies that elevate the customer experience. Your contributions will be vital in monitoring and refining our customer service performance. The ideal candidate will possess experience in business-to-business (B2B) customer service, preferably within the industrial sector. This position is hybrid, requiring some in-office presence and occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather customer feedback and insights through surveys, metrics, and direct communication.
- Analyze data to uncover issues, challenges, and opportunities for enhancing our customer service processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer concerns effectively.
- Develop actionable plans based on customer feedback and work with departments to implement necessary changes.
- Formulate strategies to improve customer satisfaction and streamline interactions.
- Travel to customer locations and company facilities as required to collect feedback and implement improvements.
- Serve as the primary contact for all inquiries and escalations related to customer experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in customer experience management to continually enhance our approach.
- Act as a bridge between customers and internal teams to ensure their needs are addressed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in B2B customer service, with a strong preference for candidates with industrial sector experience.
- Over 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role, with a proven history of driving customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and facilitating change in a collaborative setting.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with customer experience management tools and methodologies is advantageous.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods while performing office-related tasks.
- Capability to stand, walk, and move around during on-site visits or travel.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of equipment or materials, up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach when accessing equipment or materials.
- Proficient use of hands and fingers to operate computers and various office equipment.
