Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian (FT) to join our Nutrition Team at Sunnyview Rehab Center, a 120-bed award-winning rehabilitation hospital in Schenectady, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive medical nutrition therapy, including assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention for patients with diverse nutritional needs.
  • Foster a culture of quality care by adhering to the Company Diet Manual, Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide training and mentorship to patient services staff and interns, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer.
  • Contribute to patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Credential as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Licensure by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required
  • Minimum one year of hospital experience, preferably in clinical nutrition therapy
  • Possess advanced Microsoft Office skills, electronic medical record systems, and nutrient analysis programming expertise.
