Key Responsibilities
The Procurement Acquisition Specialist will:
- Assist in the creation of essential program acquisition documents, including Acquisition Plans, Acquisition Strategy Reports, Procurement Initiation Documentation, Statements of Work, funding documents, Contract Data Requirement Lists, and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements.
- Evaluate program processes and documentation to ensure compliance with specifications and mission requirements.
- Engage in meetings, conferences, and review boards, providing analytical support and contributing to briefs and reports.
- Collaborate with project management teams and provide comprehensive acquisition support.
- Utilize knowledge of Acquisition Management Systems to effectively contribute from day one.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor's degree is required, with acceptable alternatives including an associate degree plus two years of relevant experience or four years of experience in a related role.
- Experience: A minimum of three to ten years of experience in acquisition-related functions is essential.
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work and the need for a Department of Defense security clearance.
