Job Overview:
The Sourcing and Procurement Analyst is tasked with managing local stakeholder relationships, overseeing supplier performance, and executing sourcing and contracting initiatives.
This role involves collaborating with local stakeholders to facilitate key discussions and lead sourcing events, while also managing supplier performance processes and development programs to enhance value for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with local teams to assess their procurement requirements and offer guidance on best practices.
  • Address and resolve day-to-day procurement inquiries from stakeholders.
  • Participate in significant discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of sourcing strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Support sourcing strategies that reflect company goals based on input from internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to discussions on essential processes for coordination among local teams.
  • Work with internal teams, including operations, finance, and legal, to ensure adherence to organizational policies.
  • Assist stakeholders with project documentation, ensuring timely completion.
Operational Excellence
  • Support initiatives aimed at optimizing costs through local sourcing.
  • Identify and assess local suppliers, negotiate competitive pricing, and monitor cost savings.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to achieve cost reductions and enhance supplier performance.
  • Analyze spending data to uncover cost-saving opportunities and refine procurement processes.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Document procurement activities, including supplier contracts and purchase orders.
  • Contribute to the execution of the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) process.
  • Assist in resolving minor supplier payment issues.
  • Lead or support supplier escalation and performance issue resolution.
  • Manage site-specific contracts.
  • Assist in negotiating bid exceptions and sole source items.
  • Develop content for RFx execution in the eSourcing system.
Supplier Performance Management
  • Support the supplier performance process to maximize stakeholder value.
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct evaluations to ensure compliance with agreements.
  • Facilitate regular interactions with suppliers to discuss metrics and identify improvement areas.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential local suppliers and maintain a supplier database.
  • Track supplier service level agreement (SLA) compliance and develop action plans as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations & Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Experience working on cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to coordinate business operations and manage client relationships.
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance with policies.
  • Experience identifying local suppliers and negotiating favorable pricing.
  • Ability to prepare materials for presentation to executive leadership.
  • Experience in maintaining procurement documentation, including contracts and orders.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous and changing market conditions.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proficiency in business English.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement (1+ years for MBA/MS).
  • Experience presenting supplier perspectives to internal teams.
  • Experience monitoring supplier performance and compliance.
  • Experience conducting market research to identify suppliers.
  • Experience maintaining accurate procurement records.
  • Experience tracking supplier SLA compliance.
  • Experience in contract negotiations.
Knowledge
  • Basic understanding of the supplier landscape by category.
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and supplier evaluation methodologies.
  • Analytical skills and proficiency with analytical tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and other relevant software.
  • Basic knowledge of communication platforms.
