About the Job

Pleasant View Center is hiring a certified medication aide to join our team. As a Medication Technician/Aide, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver routine daily oral, inhalation, and topical medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse
  • Observe any adverse drug reactions and report problems to the nurse
  • Record medication administration according to company policies and procedures
  • Follow written or verbal instructions on managing medications
  • Perform tasks associated with medication administration, including vital signs, medication dose calculations, stocking medication carts, and removal of discontinued medications

Requirements

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Medication Aide certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of healthcare industry experience or 2 years as a medication aide
