Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN for our Med/Surg Telemetry unit at South Pointe Hospital. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in telemetry nursing.

Certification Requirements
  • Certifications are mandatory for various units including ER, ICU, MICU, SICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, Med/Surg, TCU, PACU, PICU, Pediatric PCU, Pediatric Stepdown, L&D, OB/GYN, Clinical Decisions, Tele, Oncology, Apheresis, Cath Lab, Stepdown Neuro, Dialysis, and others.
  • Certifications are not required for CVOR, OR, Pediatric OR, Ambulatory Care, and Behavioral Health.
Job Details
  • Position: Med/Surg Tele RN at South Pointe Hospital.
  • Shift: Night shift, 3x12's from 7pm to 7:30am.
  • Experience: Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience is required.
  • Permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience of at least 18 months is necessary.
  • Travelers are expected to work at least every other holiday.
  • PBDS Assessment is waived.
  • Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation is required, with acceptable scores on both assessments.
  • Hours worked will be submitted via Qualivis – Lotus.
Job Requirements
  • Must possess a valid Ohio license or a compact state license.
  • AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Schedule Information
  • Night shift: 3x12's from 7pm to 7:30am.
  • Travelers must work at least every other holiday.
Unit Specific Information
  • Target unit: Med/Surg Telemetry.
  • Orientation will cover unit specifics during the initial phase of the contract.
Additional Details
  • A government-issued photo ID is required and must be carried while on assignment.
  • Travelers must adhere to the facility's dress code.
  • Compliance with all facility policies and procedures is mandatory.
