Job Description

As a Dell Powerflex Administrator at Avance Consulting, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Powerflex system, ensuring its optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating System, Network, and Storage Administration: Administer the Powerflex operating system, network, and storage components to ensure seamless operation and data integrity.
  • Powerflex Manager Management: Manage the Powerflex Manager to monitor and control the system, ensuring efficient resource allocation and optimal performance.
  • Appliance Environment Upgrades: Upgrade the Powerflex appliance environment to ensure compatibility with the latest software and hardware releases.
  • System Health Monitoring: Monitor system health to identify potential issues and take proactive measures to prevent downtime.
  • Secure Remote Services: Utilize Secure Remote Services to monitor and alert on system events, ensuring prompt response to potential issues.
  • SNMP Trap and Syslog Forwarding: Configure SNMP trap and syslog forwarding to ensure seamless integration with external monitoring systems.
  • Backup and Restore: Administer backup and restore procedures to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
  • Cloud Link Centre Administration: Administer the Cloud Link Centre to ensure secure and efficient data transfer between systems.
  • Password Management: Manage Powerflex appliance passwords to ensure secure access and authentication.
  • Power On/Off and Ports Management: Manage power on/off and ports to ensure efficient system operation and data transfer.
