Job Title: Cable Assembler Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Cable Assembler Specialist to join our team at BSU INC. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling complex cable and wire harness assemblies.

Responsibilities:
* Read and follow wire harness assembly instructions/blueprints
* Cut and strip wire to specifications
* Crimp terminals to wire ends
* Install and shrink insulation sleeving
* Route, wire, and assemble electronic components using wire layout fixtures
* Operate equipment such as crimp presses, wire twisters and wire strippers
* Conducts functional and continuity tests of wire harnesses and cable assemblies using friendly test fixtures
* Use of a solder iron to solder wires to switches or connectors
* Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process assemblies and finished products

Requirements:
* Wire/Cable harness assembly experience is a must
* Familiar with IPC J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620
* Minimum of 4+ years experience in a manufacturing/assembly line
* Expected to read and comprehend process documentation including Bills of Materials and Assembly drawings
* Expected to communicate well in English both verbally and in written format

Benefits:
We offer an excellent benefit package, including a salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. This includes 401(k) matching, bonus based on performance, dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
