Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assembly Specialist to join our team at BSU Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling complex cable and wire harness assemblies with high precision and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies: Cut and strip wires to specifications, crimp terminals to wire ends, install insulation sleeving, and route electronic components using wire layout fixtures.
  • Operate Equipment: Utilize crimp presses, wire twisters, and wire strippers to efficiently complete tasks.
  • Inspect and Test Assemblies: Conduct functional and continuity tests of wire harnesses and cable assemblies using test fixtures.
  • Perform Visual and Dimensional Inspections: Ensure in-process assemblies and finished products meet quality standards.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Wire/Cable Harness Assembly Experience: A minimum of 4+ years' experience in a manufacturing or assembly line environment.
  • Familiarity with Industry Standards: Knowledge of IPC J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 is essential.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to read and comprehend process documentation, communicate effectively in English, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills, ability to keep count of parts, and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
