Job Title: Psychologist Consultant
Job Summary: Ladgov Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Certified Psychologist to provide expert services in addressing psychological issues such as family, marital, chemical dependency, alcohol abuse, financial, mental, and emotional problems. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and maintaining the well-being of VA employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments to identify the root causes of psychological problems and develop effective intervention strategies to address them.
- Counseling and Support: Provide short-term counseling and support to employees, as well as facilitate referrals to community resources when necessary.
- Case Management: Manage complex cases, including attending meetings and briefings, and collaborating with other stakeholders to ensure effective case resolution.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in psychology, and apply this knowledge to improve services and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Education: Possess a doctorate degree in psychology from a program in clinical psychology of an educational institution accredited by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
- Experience: Have a minimum of three years of clinical experience within the last seven years, with at least two years of supervised clinical experience as a psychologist in health service.
- Licensure: Be licensed or certified as a psychologist at the independent practice level of psychology.
