PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: To deliver credit and financial assistance for the operations of Loves.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs credit assessments of potential clients' financial documents, credit histories, and additional information to evaluate the risk associated with granting credit to counterparties. Approves applicants/terms or provides recommendations within authorized limits.
- Processes requests for credit limit increases and modifications to terms from both internal and external parties.
- Tracks daily counterparty exposure to confirm that trading activities remain within set limits and adhere to relevant credit policies.
- Negotiates and manages credit terms within contracts and various security-related documents (such as guarantees and letters of credit).
- Collaborates with multiple departments (including Marketing/Sales, Collections, Billing, Cash Application, Treasury, Accounting, etc.) to set up customer systems, resolve customer issues, manage customer risks/exposures, and ensure compliance with credit policies.
- Assists the organization in maximizing profits through effective risk assessment and exposure management, which supports sales while minimizing bad debt losses and optimizing accounts receivable turnover.
- Supports the Credit Manager in preparing monthly reports and other assigned projects.
WORK LOCATION:
- This role offers a hybrid work model (combination of in-office and remote work).
- The candidate can be based in either Houston, TX or Oklahoma City, OK.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
- Education:
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Experience:
- Prior experience in customer service is beneficial.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
SKILLS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Skills:
- Financial Risk Assessment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to maintain professionalism during conflicts and challenging situations.
- Effective time management and organizational skills, teamwork orientation, proactive attitude, and a results-driven mindset.
- Typical Physical Requirements:
- Requires extended periods of sitting, along with some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting of items up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient for operating a computer keyboard and calculator.
- Requires normal hearing and vision capabilities.
