Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

Shift Information

Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with potential for evening and weekend shifts as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist clients both in-person and via phone, addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Confirm client information through interviews, review medical histories, take vital signs, and clarify the purpose of visits.
  • Provide education on medications and dietary guidelines, respond to questions, and offer clear instructions.
  • Accurately maintain records of patient assessments, treatments, and test outcomes.
  • Document billing information for services rendered, complete insurance documentation, and handle related inquiries.
  • Communicate essential messages in writing to the healthcare team.
  • Organize laboratory reports, highlighting urgent results and filing standard findings in patient records.
  • Process medication refill requests according to established protocols, including obtaining necessary authorizations and coordinating with pharmacies.
  • Ensure a safe and compliant work environment by following established standards, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Safeguard patient confidentiality and maintain operational integrity by securing sensitive information.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for Medical Assistant Certification.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence effectively.
  • Capability to understand policy and procedure manuals and other relevant documents.
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license, access to an insured vehicle, and willingness to transport clients as necessary.
  • Preferred: Experience in serving diverse populations.
