Key Responsibilities
Actively inspire, motivate, and engage students throughout instructional sessions Collaborate with colleagues to provide tailored instruction in a group environment Evaluate student work and deliver constructive, positive feedback Manage classroom behavior to foster a conducive learning atmosphere Maintain a growth-oriented mindset towards student learning and instructional practices. Assist with non-instructional tasks, which may include administrative support or other assigned duties Required Qualifications:
A strong enthusiasm for mathematics and a commitment to student engagement Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Willingness to learn and participate in training Strong mathematical skills, with proficiency at least through Algebra I Capability to manage multiple ongoing responsibilities All candidates will need to complete a math literacy assessment to verify their mathematical skills, provide proof of work eligibility, and undergo a background screening.
Additional Information
Our center operates Monday-Thursday from 12 pm - 8 pm and Saturday from 10 am - 2 pm. We offer flexible scheduling and are willing to accommodate school and other work commitments. Instructors earn between $12-$15 per hour based on their experience, education, and math proficiency. There are opportunities for advancement into roles such as Lead Instructor. Compensation: $15.00 per hour
