Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Providence Swedish Medical Center - Edmonds Campus. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, including the setup and breakdown of equipment and supplies.
  • Transport patients to and from the operating room and recovery area, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Stock and manage supplies, equipment, and instruments, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a seamless and efficient surgical experience.
  • Participate in the turnover of rooms between cases, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly cleaned and restocked.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a relevant position, preferably in a hospital or surgical setting.
  • Must not be a first-time traveler or new to the role of Surgical Technologist.
  • Previous employees of Providence Swedish Medical Center - Edmonds Campus must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for this position.
Work Environment

This is a per diem position, with variable 8-hour shifts that may rotate based on volume. The unit has 8 rooms and 8 beds, and the patient age group includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
