As a Restoration Technician, you play a crucial role in providing emergency restoration and disaster recovery services to our clients. Your hands-on expertise encompasses water damage, fire restoration, mold remediation, biohazard cleanup, demolition, and construction tasks. You are adaptable and support the team across various service lines, contributing to successful project outcomes in multiple ways.

Your responsibilities include loading and unloading materials and tools, setting up drying equipment for structures, performing vehicle maintenance, and ensuring job sites are clean and prepared. You may also assist with tarping roofs or executing emergency board-ups.

Maintaining Environmental, Health, and Safety protocols is paramount as you ensure a safe job site. You are ready to assist your team whenever necessary, demonstrating your willingness to travel and respond to emergency calls during after-hours and weekends. Your dedication provides clients with a positive experience during challenging times, assuring them that First Onsite is their trusted restoration partner.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Requirements:
    • Basic computer proficiency - MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Fundamental ability to operate industry-specific tools and equipment
    • Effective communication skills with coworkers, supervisors, and clients
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver's license is mandatory

SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment while managing stress to meet deadlines and handle competing priorities
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and be available for 24/7 response
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is essential
  • Potential exposure to hazardous environments at disaster sites; travel may be necessary
