Job Title: Procurement Manager

At DSJ, we are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies to ensure the efficient acquisition of machinery, parts, and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to identify and select suppliers that align with company goals.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to forecast material needs and avoid shortages or excess stock.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities for savings, ensuring the best value for the company.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to understand material requirements and specifications.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to inform procurement decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, savings, and supplier performance to senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in procurement, preferably in the machinery or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles and practices.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
