Job Summary:

We are seeking a Casual Respiratory Therapist to join our team at ChristianaCare Union Hospital-Cecil. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our critical care units, medical-surgical floors, and emergency care departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care services to patients in various settings, including adult and infant critical care units, medical-surgical floors, and emergency care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain active CRT and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials, as well as current BLS and NRP certifications.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in respiratory care.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or graduate of a CoARC-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
  • Licensure in the State of Maryland required.
  • Greater than 6 months of experience preferred.
