Key Responsibilities

As an integral part of our team, your tasks will include:

  • Creating detailed construction drawings and specifications for electrical systems.
  • Designing lighting, power distribution, and communication systems with minimal supervision, focusing on healthcare, educational, and commercial sectors.
  • Reviewing engineering documents and analyzing layouts for system components.
  • Collaborating in value engineering discussions with the Architectural/Engineering team.
  • Applying electrical codes to ensure compliance in power distribution designs.
  • Proposing enhancements to improve quality and streamline processes.
  • Assisting in the evaluation of shop drawings and project submittals.
  • Gathering information for responding to RFIs and reviewing change orders.
  • Conducting site visits to assess existing conditions and monitor construction progress.
  • Traveling as necessary for project requirements.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance during client interactions.
  • Performing additional related duties as required.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a focus on Electrical Systems from an ABET accredited institution.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred: Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the United States.
  • Preferred: LEED accreditation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software, particularly Revit.
