Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, electrical, cooling system, suspension, and alignment issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Explain technical diagnoses and repairs to customers, ensuring they understand the work being done.
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the role.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company safety and environmental standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months of automotive mechanical problem-solving and repair experience.
  • Section 609 Certification preferred.
  • State Inspection license if applicable.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time.
