The Model Office integration team at State Street Alpha is in search of experienced professionals with a robust background in integration, project management, analysis, workflow design, data analysis, system flows, and business architecture. The objective is to facilitate the implementation and enhancement of the Alpha platform's end-to-end integration. State Street Alpha merges our distinctive strengths in data and analytics to better serve our clients, with the model office acting as the environment where all components of Alpha converge. As a member of the model office team, you will contribute to the construction of the client's ultimate end-to-end architecture, delivering insights and data solutions. Key Responsibilities
In the role of Business Architect for Middle Office Integration, you will:
Assist in the formulation of both Business As Usual (BAU) and strategic initiatives to outline the Model Office roadmap aimed at achieving future state objectives. Possess a solid understanding of various investment instruments, including equities, over-the-counter instruments, and debt. Actively engage in and execute assignments for extensive and intricate business solutions initiatives across the Model Office. Support the development of strategies and plans to address staff resource limitations and create frameworks for building and sustaining subject matter expertise within the business solutions team. Advocate for best practices in business requirements analysis, tools, and controls to enhance processes and service quality. Contribute to the development and maintenance of a comprehensive repository of business process workflow documentation. Drive the creation of business case documentation and requirements analysis for the Model Office and potentially other ALPHA product teams. Collaborate closely with Alpha initiatives to perpetually refine our methodologies. Partner with Information Technology to ensure effective communication of business requirements, facilitating seamless implementation workstreams. Develop data and functional requirements and assist in the formulation of related estimates. Participate in information delivery and business intelligence strategy discussions. Conduct data analysis, profiling, and data mappings across multiple interfaces. Assist in the development of conceptual and logical data models with appropriate business contexts. Perform data gap analysis on complex financial datasets. Utilize analytical, conceptual, and creative thinking skills to enhance outcomes.Education & Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or higher in finance or business management for system administration. A minimum of 7 years of experience in the financial industry, encompassing front office functionality as well as middle (IBOR) and back office systems, services, and data domains. Experience with integration of other industry software providers to enhance platform interoperability is advantageous (e.g., CRD, BRS Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension, Factset, Fidessa Minerva, Eze Software, etc.). Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and defect tracking tools (Jira, ServiceNow). Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Azure and Snowflake.About State Street

Salary Range:
$110,000 - $177,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
