About the Role

As a Lead Financial Solutions Consultant at Workday, Inc., you will be instrumental in driving the successful deployment of our financial solutions tailored for the healthcare sector. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a diverse and inclusive team, working alongside sales, project management, product development, and fellow consultants to achieve exceptional outcomes. You will leverage your expertise to serve as an architect and advisor, ensuring that our financial and accounting solutions are seamlessly integrated with other functional domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and uphold healthcare best practices to adapt to evolving industry standards and trends.
  • Assess client needs and design customized Workday financial solutions.
  • Showcase configurations through the creation of prototype systems and assist clients in the testing phase.
  • Engage in ongoing training and events to share your product and industry knowledge with peers.
  • Collaborate with the Engagement Manager by providing regular status updates and keeping them informed about the overall project progress.
  • Participate in customer discovery sessions to understand their requirements.
  • Guide and mentor junior consultants.

About You

  • P4:
  • 4+ years of experience in implementing or functioning within Financial Management software solutions such as Workday, Lawson, Oracle, or PeopleSoft.
  • 3+ years of consulting experience.
  • 4+ years of financial consulting experience, including at least 3 full-cycle implementations in the healthcare industry, or 6+ years of operational experience in financial or accounting roles within healthcare organizations.
  • Proficiency in General Ledger and familiarity with one or more of the following: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Expense Management, and Banking & Settlement.
  • P5:
  • 7+ years of experience in implementing or functioning within Financial Management software solutions such as Workday, Lawson, Oracle, or PeopleSoft.
  • 7+ years of consulting experience.
  • 6+ years of financial consulting experience, including at least 3 full-cycle implementations in the healthcare industry, or 6+ years of operational experience in financial or accounting roles within healthcare organizations.
  • Proficiency in General Ledger and familiarity with one or more of the following: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Expense Management, and Banking & Settlement.
  • Other Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
  • A strong commitment to customer service and experience in project management.
  • Experience in architecting Workday Foundation Data Model (FDM) and FIN Accounting solutions.
  • Ability to engage with all levels of customer leadership.
  • Capacity to quickly learn new technologies through formal training and self-directed study.
  • Experience with various financial applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple project engagements simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
