Job Title: Water Meter Reader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Water Meter Reader to join our team at Inframark. As a Water Meter Reader, you will be responsible for accurately reading and recording commercial and residential water meters for billing purposes.

Responsibilities:

- Accurately read and record commercial and residential water meters for billing purposes.
- Check and report inoperable meters, damaged or missing meter boxes, and missing lids.
- Report leaks, sink holes, or damage to any district facilities.
- Perform meter re-reads and other activities associated with the contract.
- Ensure cleanliness of assigned vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and internet.
- Ability to work with basic office equipment and phone systems.
- Ability to work with numbers, including calculations.
- Basic map reading ability and GPS.
- Ability to read meters.
- Working knowledge of billing and payment processing.

Working Conditions:

- Must be able to frequently lift 20-40 pounds.
- Must be able to load, unload, and move large equipment/tools.
- Must be able to access confined spaces.
- Must be able to continuously walk, climb stairs, walk through ditches, and wooded areas.
