Administrative Coordinator

M&M Excavating is a family-owned and operated heavy-highway contractor seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team. As the face and voice of the M&M office, this role will be responsible for executing daily administrative tasks, including payroll processing, maintaining personnel records, and assisting with special projects.
Key Responsibilities- Review, verify, and process weekly payroll
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Maintain personnel records and assist with onboarding new hires
- Assist Project Management with job-related tasks
- Work with management on special projects as assigned
- Order, stock, and distribute office supplies
- Develop and maintain employee appreciation programs
- Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintain and update files, records, certificates, and/or other documents
- High school diploma or GED required (Associates or Bachelors degree preferred)
- Experience in payroll processing is required
- Experience in Foundation Software is a plus, but is not required
- Familiarity with construction is preferred, but is not required
- Strong Computer, Communication & Organizational Skills
- Basic knowledge of construction administration and a willingness to learn
- Work ethic focused on loyalty, quality, pride, & integrity
