Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Registration Representative to join our team at Powers Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely registration of patients in various areas of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately and efficiently register patients in all registration areas, including Inpatient Admissions, Pre-Admissions, Emergency Room, and Outpatient Diagnostic Testing and Treatment areas.
  • Obtain and enter patient demographic information into our hospital computer system.
  • Identify patient payment sources and insurance types, including pre-authorization and referral orders.

Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Typing speed of 35wpm.
  • Medical Terminology knowledge required.
  • Previous hospital or healthcare-related experience preferred.
