Position Summary:
The Property Leasing Specialist plays a crucial role in managing leasing activities, enhancing resident retention, and ensuring high occupancy rates within the community. This position emphasizes exceptional customer service, leaving a positive impression on visitors and residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome prospective residents and assess their needs through effective questioning and engagement.
- Prepare comprehensive move-in documentation and lease agreements.
- Document all inquiries and visits promptly, maintaining accurate records as per company protocols.
- Conduct inspections of model units and available properties, reporting any maintenance needs to the management team.
- Facilitate the application process, ensuring compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations.
- Update and manage the availability report while processing applications for approval.
- Assist in tracking lease renewals and follow up on notices sent to residents.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and gather competitive market insights.
- Represent Valiant Enterprises LLC professionally at all times.
- Process rental payments and ensure they are handled appropriately.
- Prepare lease documents accurately and review them with management before finalizing.
- Support the management team with various administrative tasks as needed.
- Adhere to community policies consistently.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or sales.
- Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
- Maintain a positive demeanor and professionalism at all times.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- Minimum of two years of relevant customer service experience.
- Present a neat and professional appearance.
- Ability to manage customer concerns effectively.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to perform various physical tasks, including sitting, standing, climbing, and walking the property for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. as necessary.
