Key Responsibilities- Provide a therapeutic environment for patients, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Implement treatment plans and monitor the outcome of goals, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct therapeutic activities and co-facilitate group therapy sessions, focusing on skills training, psychosocial rehabilitation, and behavior management.
- Interact with patients on a one-to-one basis and in group settings, encouraging appropriate behavior and providing input into developing and changing patient treatment plans.
- Observe and record patients' vital signs, behavior, and interaction with others, providing valuable insights for treatment planning.
- Foster increased patient self-esteem through teaching and role modeling, facilitating problem-solving, and recording observations of individual and group behavior.
- Some knowledge of personal hygiene and first aid, typically gained through at least two months of experience or a willingness to learn.
- Experience following written and oral instructions, typically gained through at least six months of experience.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure.
