Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal image quality
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, ensuring accurate and detailed results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and imaging results
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
