We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU Nurse to join our team at Brandon Surgery Center. As a PACU Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth recovery process for our patients.
Responsibilities- Prepare patient care areas and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are provided
- Monitor patients' vital signs, temperature, and cardiac function
- Perform and document head-to-toe evaluations of patients using an approved scoring system
- Check dressings and operative sites of patients and report abnormalities to the surgeon
- Provide a safe and comforting environment for patients and their families
- Ensure patients meet discharge criteria
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing Required
- 1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU, or Surgery
- Active RN license as required by state of employment
- BCLS Certification upon employment
- ACLS required within 30-days of hire
- PALS if required by facility within 30-days of hire
