Job Title: Registered Nurse RN PACU

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). As a PACU Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients recovering from surgery.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and plan the care of post-operative patients, ensuring their needs are met and their recovery is smooth.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, while maintaining accurate records of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida or eligibility for compact licensure.
  • Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting, preferably in a PACU or critical care environment.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
