About the Role:

Boys Town is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead our financial strategy and operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing our financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with our mission and long-term goals
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, including the development of financial forecasts and long-term financial plans
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to the Board of Trustees, Executive Leaders, and Operational Leaders
  • Identify and manage financial risks to the organization, including maintaining adequate insurance coverage and managing investments
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations, as well as nonprofit and hospital industry standards
  • Manage and mentor the finance and accounting teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  • Oversee the financial management of grants, including reporting and compliance with donor requirements
  • Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and Board Finance and Audit Committee
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial management systems and tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting or related field required
  • CPA or CMA required
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant senior financial management and leadership experience preferably in a Non-profit organization of similar or greater scope is preferred
  • Healthcare experience a plus
