About the Role:

EisnerAmper's Private Client Services team is seeking a highly skilled Tax Director to lead our tax return process, including review of tax projections, tax workpapers, and tax returns. This role requires expertise in Federal and State Individual and Fiduciary tax returns, as well as experience with corporation and partnership accounting and tax concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the tax return process, including identification and resolution of tax issues
  • Mentor, train, and manage staff accountants to meet deadlines and prioritize workload
  • Effectively manage multiple tax engagements in a team environment, and also work independently
  • Identify potential opportunities for new and/or expanded client services
  • Lead and manage engagements, including budgeting, billing, and engagement economics

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field
  • Public accounting experience
  • 10+ years of work experience in tax compliance, specialization in individual, fiduciary, estate, and gift taxation
  • CPA certification
