**Overview:**

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of hardware specifications, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and servers, as well as excellent documentation and oral communication skills. They will also be able to multi-task and balance multiple goals and priorities, and possess a passion for learning about and working in the IT industry.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*

  • Maintaining RHEL servers
  • Administering RHEL virtual machines (KVM) and containers (Docker/Podman)
  • Developing software applications in Python, ReactJS, and TypeScript/JavaScript on RHEL platforms
  • Automation of maintenance tasks using shell scripting (Bash)
  • Maintain source code in software repositories (Git)
  • Assisting in management of network devices, including configuration of layer 2 & 3 switches and routers
  • Assist subject matter experts with software engineering change requests (ECR) and software installation documentation
  • Research and resolve software trouble reports impacting application functionality.
