Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Compliance: Verify that all production processes adhere to established specifications and regulations.
- Monitor and Record: Track weights, torques, and other required tests to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct Line Clearance: Perform thorough inspections before and after production operations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Inspect Components: Conduct visual inspections of components and finished goods to identify any defects or quality issues.
- Verify Labels and Codes: Confirm that all labels, UPCs, and batch codes are accurate and compliant with regulations.
- Take Corrective Action: Address any quality issues promptly and effectively to prevent reoccurrence.
- Document Production Activities: Maintain accurate records of production activities in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
- Inspect Finished Goods: Regularly inspect finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Complete Paperwork: Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and documentation.
- Promote Compliance: Foster a culture of compliance with quality standards and GMP regulations throughout the organization.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar QA role is highly desirable.
Qualifications:
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues at all levels.
- Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills and ability to pass a background check.
Additional Skills:
Ability to: Follow instructions, communicate effectively, and work well in a team environment.
Work Environment: The role requires exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.
