Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team at Providence Kodiak Alaska Medical Center. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and evaluate sonographic examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Obtain clinical history and perform physical assessments to determine appropriate testing protocols.
  • Provide technical interpretations of sonographic and physiologic data to aid physicians in rendering medical diagnoses.
  • Provide patient care and support during procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a recognized school of Diagnostic Sonography.
  • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years' experience in General Sonography, Echocardiography, and Vascular.
