We are seeking a skilled Nurse Coordinator to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a Nurse Coordinator - Genetics, you will play a critical role in assisting patients and their families navigate the continuum of care, providing education and support throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care
- Provide patient-centered care, including assessment, education, and advocacy
- Administrative
- Develop and maintain databases to track key performance indicators, such as patient satisfaction and clinical trial accrual
- Communication
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Professional Development
- Identify training opportunities for staff and self, and recommend development activities to supervisors
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a CCNE-accredited institution
- 3-5 years of experience in a related field
- Current Maryland Registered Nurse License
- American Heart Association CPR Certification
- OCN certification strongly preferred
