Position Overview:

The Massage Therapist is tasked with delivering massage therapy services to hospice patients in accordance with their individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities:
Conducts assessments and evaluations, establishing a tailored plan and objectives for massage therapy.
Administers massage therapy treatments as directed by the Attending Physician and the Suncrest Hospice team.
Educates patients, families, and staff on the benefits and techniques of massage therapy.
Monitors and reports on the patient's response to treatment or any changes in their condition.
Accurately documents services provided using electronic methods on the day of service.
Participates in team meetings as requested.
Engages in Performance Improvement initiatives, as needed.

Qualifications:
Must hold a valid license to practice as a massage therapist in the relevant state.
A minimum of one year of experience in massage therapy is preferred.
Proof of professional liability insurance is required.
