Position Overview:

The Massage Therapist is tasked with delivering massage therapy services to hospice patients in accordance with their individualized care plans.


Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to establish a tailored plan and objectives for massage therapy.
Administer massage therapy treatments as directed by the Attending Physician and the Suncrest Hospice care team.
Educate patients, families, and staff on the benefits and techniques of massage therapy.
Monitor and report on clients' responses to treatment or any changes in their condition.
Accurately document services provided using electronic methods on the day of service.
Participate in team meetings as requested.
Engage in Performance Improvement initiatives, as needed.

Qualifications:
Must hold a valid license to practice as a massage therapist in the relevant state.
A minimum of one year of experience in massage therapy is preferred.
Proof of professional liability insurance is required.
