Job Summary

This position is a line position with supervisory responsibilities, requiring the ability to perform several job duties in a specific location. The successful candidate will be responsible for observing all retail dining policies and procedures, training new employees and student workers, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all food is handled and served in accordance with HAACP and Food Department guidelines.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, filling out HAACP logs as necessary.
  • Train and supervise new employees and student workers.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • One year experience in institutional or commercial food service.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions, maintain records, and complete forms accurately.
  • Knowledge of the care and use of food service equipment and kitchen utensils.
  • Knowledge of health hazards in food preparation and service and necessary precautionary measures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.

  • Food retail experience.
