Role Summary: This position entails a senior-level Electrical Systems Engineering role focused on the development and management of facility power distribution systems (up to 13.8 KV). The engineer will take charge of mission support coordination, equipment operations, maintenance, and electrical project planning, ensuring optimal performance of assigned systems.

Key Responsibilities:

System Engineering:
  1. Expertise in electrical system protective relaying, motor controls, switchgear design, and operation.
  2. Strong design capabilities for medium and low voltage power distribution systems.
  3. Lead troubleshooting and design tasks with minimal oversight.
  4. Collaborate with junior engineers and technicians to uphold engineering standards.
  5. Ensure compliance with safety practices and electrical codes.
  6. Interpret and guide the creation of electrical schematics and single-line diagrams.
Maintenance Duties:
  1. Update asset information in maintenance databases.
  2. Develop job plans and preventive maintenance schedules.
  3. Conduct site visits to diagnose and resolve system issues.
  4. Assist technicians in troubleshooting and resolving equipment anomalies.
  5. Prepare reports detailing technical anomalies and resolutions.
Operational Support:
  1. Coordinate mission activities to align with launch schedules.
  2. Participate in console operations during testing and launch phases.
Readiness Assessment:
  1. Engage in system health and readiness programs.
  2. Conduct assessments of equipment and systems for operational readiness.
Project Coordination:
  1. Work with various stakeholders to define system specifications.
  2. Facilitate communication between engineering teams and clients.
  3. Support the development of technical proposals and documentation.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  2. Strong analytical and communication skills.
  3. Proficient in using engineering software and tools.
  4. Ability to interpret multi-discipline engineering drawings.
Preferred Skills:
  1. Willingness to travel as needed.
  2. Ability to obtain necessary security clearances.
Work Environment:
