Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Cook to join our team at North Vista Hospital. As a Dietary Cook, you will play a critical role in preparing nutritious meals for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare high-quality food according to established food safety policies in a sanitary environment.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest food safety and preparation techniques.
Requirements
  • Two (2) years of experience in food service, with commercial or institutional cooking experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic diets is desired.
  • County-specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current.
