As a Seafood Production Cutter at The Chefs' Warehouse, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of seafood products. Your duties will include rotating incoming seafood into stock, maintaining a steady production flow, and reading production schedules to determine items to be processed. You will also be responsible for lifting seafood onto tables, using electric scaling machines to scale fish, and sorting and placing items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure all incoming seafood is properly rotated into stock
- Maintain a steady production flow to meet production requirements
- Read production schedules or customer orders to determine items to be processed, moved, gathered, or distributed
- Lift seafood onto tables
- Use electric scaling machines to scale fish
- Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences
To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift and move seafood products with ease.
