Service Offering Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Remote Service Offering Manager to join our team at KION Group. As a key member of our customer service organization, you will be responsible for evaluating, defining, and marketing testing our service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with segment leaders, engineering, sales, and operations teams to develop future service offerings.
- Accountable for revenue and margin associated with services portfolio.
- Serve as offering owner for service creation, revision, and release to market.
- Conduct voice-of-customer (VOC) and market research to identify opportunities based on underlying needs of stakeholders.
- Commercialize offerings, including service creation, pricing, and costing strategies; sales and technical support training; marketing and communication activities.
- Manage partnerships, including cross-company development activities, customer support, and escalations.
- Support sales processes and activities related to the service portfolio.
- Actively participate in industry networking.
Requirements:
- BS/BA in Engineering, Project Management, Marketing.
- Expert in Material Handling and/or Warehouse operations.
- 5+ years of professional experience and success in complex solution sales or product development in a B2B role.
- Able to multi-task and work in a high-growth, fast-paced and deadline driven environment successfully.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite; Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM.
- Training in strategic selling methodology.
Travel and Work Environment:
This is a remote work opportunity. The role requires travel to various locations, including but not limited to customer sites, industry events, and company offices.
