Dynamometer Instrumentation Specialist

Job Summary:

STS Technical Services is seeking a skilled Dynamometer Instrumentation Specialist to join our team. This is a long-term contract opportunity set for 18+ months, working in a state-of-the-art New Product Development facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and configuring test automation systems, supporting engine dyno testing, and monitoring test results.

Key Responsibilities:

* Set up and configure test automation systems
* Support all engine dyno testing
* Monitor test results and troubleshoot issues
* Collaborate with internal customers to ensure successful project outcomes

Requirements:

* Prior experience in a testing lab environment
* Proficiency in diagnostic tools and dynamometer operation
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a self-directed team environment

Preferred Skills:

* Knowledge of engine dynamometer test cell operation
* Experience with dynamometer data acquisition and automation systems
* Familiarity with motorcycle powertrain or small engine dynamometer testing
