Owens Realty Services is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning of administrative offices, lobbies, cafeterias, lounges, corridors, elevators, and stairways in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and other cleaning tools.
  • Waste Management: Collect and dispose of recyclable and non-recyclable waste, and replace trash can liners.
  • Sanitation and Hygiene: Clean and disinfect telephones, light switches, door handles, and other high-touch areas.
  • Event Support: Assist with event setup and breakdown, including cleaning and preparing event spaces.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to your supervisor, and maintain open communication with the facilities management team.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-3 months of related experience and training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Ability to understand written and verbal instructions, apply common sense understanding to follow instructions, and communicate effectively in English.

Working Conditions:

  • Physical Demands: Bend, carry, kneel, lift, pull, push, reach, sit, stand, twist, and walk for extended periods.
