Job Summary

As a Registered Radiology Technologist at Intermountain Healthcare, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality medical imaging services to our patients. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team in Heber City, Utah.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform medical imaging examinations under the direction of a physician, ensuring proper patient identification, order verification, and preparation for the exam.
  • Utilize sterile technique when performing invasive procedures and maintain a clean, neat, and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Recognize emergent patient situations and respond quickly and appropriately, ensuring patient and staff safety.
  • Thoroughly and accurately complete all required documentation, including time stamps and image storage.
  • Coordinate patient care and communicate pertinent information to other patient care providers following procedure.
Requirements
  • ARRT registration
  • Current Rad Tech license in state of practice (if working in Utah)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare providers
  • May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire and perform the function of an MA (as required by Medical Group)
Preferred Qualifications
  • IV certification
